I bought gta4 and episodes from liberty city together as a package here on steam. They install fine, but after loading and signing into live I press play and it just keeps running the intro pictures of all the characters. I know other people have had this problem, but I can't find a for sure fix. Has anyone had this particular issue and fixed it? If so, how. I have windows 8.1, intel core i3

When I start my GTA 4 it gets stuck on the black starter screen with the copyright information. I've tried screwing around with it myself, but it still stayed stuck when I tried to run it. Steam refuses to give me a refund. Is there any *simple* way to get the game running? Help!
